Joint Commission revises January 5th changes

The Joint Commission has announced changes to the 2009 standards revisions originally released January 5, 2009.
After discussions with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), The Joint Commission has reduced the number of changes from the previous total of 165 new and revised Elements of Performance to 87.
