The Patient Safety Monitor Blog is still accepting entries for its contest, which was launched on July 25 in honor of National Patient Safety Day. Participants are invited to submit any creative patient safety events that their facility has hosted to promote patient safety. This could be a fair, education program, hospitalwide campaign, or other activity.
At the end of the month, one winner will be chosen by a panel of judges and will win a copy of the Patient Safety Officer's Handbook. The contest runs through August 21 and a winner will be announced during the week of August 24.
